Alicia Gallagher was drawn to education because it allowed her upbeat and energetic personality to thrive. Alicia is passionate about getting to know each of her students and showing them that learning can, and should, be fun and rewarding! She enjoys using movement, games, and hands-on activities to teach strategies that will last learners a lifetime.
Alicia has her Bachelor of Arts, and Masters of Arts in Teaching from Rollins College and is highly effective and state-certified in K-6. She has worked across Elementary grade-levels, with students with varying exceptionalities, learning disabilities, ASD, ESOL, and Gifted students. She believes the foundational reading years are a major predictor of future success and loves to instill a love and confidence in reading with her students.
