I received a degree from the University of North Florida in Health Science, before realizing my passion and returning to school to become a teacher. I am a highly effective, certified educator with certification in Varied Exceptionalities (Prek), Exceptional Education, and Primary Education. I have extensive experience teaching a wide range of students from dyslexia to ASD (autism spectrum disorder). I am currently trained, and continues training, in the research validated Lindamood-Bell Learning processes, which is a multi-sensory approach to learning. Although I loved teaching in the classroom, I have enjoyed the transition to working one on one with students and the relationships I am building with them. I am passionate about understanding and creating a roadmap for every child to learn, no matter the obstacles. When I am not working with my students, I can be found volunteering in the community or at my church, spending time with my husband and chasing around my highly energetic toddler and crawling baby.
